Thump Roasters
Do you want to sip coffee in an industrial glass box with overlooking views of Summit High School and the Hyrdo Flask parking lot, but not in like, a bad way? Thump Roastery in the NW is the unequivocal mayor of chill times. They play swanky hotel lobby music, the kind that makes you feel just a little cooler after hearing it. Look up! The lights are bike gears. Ring ring! That’s the sound of my bike bell, in case you didn’t get that. Thump’s friendly staff, inviting fire tables, and dogs on the patio make this spot a real nice place to bring your laptop or meet your friend or, hey…to watch the high school marching band practice. Not because you’re a gross creeper, maybe you genuinely enjoy band practice. Drums put everyone in a festive mood.
Thump has coffee down. They roast their beans right here in the York Dr. location and will whip up a killer Madagascar Vanilla Mocha. While you’re there, get a baked thing. Croissant, perhaps? They make them here themselves like damn wizards.
Thump also has a line of tea: Calamitea. I drank some while listening to the vibey-est music and while watching the clouds roll across the high school track field—bliss in the form of sunshine and ginger lemongrass.
